Our beginning
Offbeat began with a simple belief: there is far more to these hills than the usual sightseeing circuit.
Our map starts in Darjeeling and stretches through tea estates, forest hamlets and quiet villages around Kalimpong, Kurseong, Mirik and the Teesta valley. It continues into Sikkim’s monastery towns and locally hosted villages, then descends to the rivers, forests and tea country of the Dooars.
We build every journey with the people who know this region as home—homestay families, hill drivers, village guides, tea communities and Dooars naturalists. The result is flexible, personal and rooted in the places we actually know.
